Our Founder
Savanna Fluter
Savanna Fluter is a passionate dog lover with a mobile dog grooming business. She started this business with a mission in mind: to help save homeless pets. She was able to purchase an 11-acre property on which to start the rescue, and she hopes to attract like-minded individuals who would like to help build the rescue and really help some dogs in need!
Savanna’s background is in Business which she studied at the University of Utah. She went on to become a licensed dog groomer, a certified dog trainer, and has previously worked in fundraising at the Humane Society of Utah. In her younger days she worked as a veterinary assistant, a pet sitter and did dog hiking. She has always spent time volunteering at her local shelters and rescues and she can’t wait to give back by starting her own rescue!
Meet the Team
Shyanne Buckins
Shyanne buckins has always been passionate about animals ever since she was little girl. She has always had the motivation to help any animal in need whether it’s a dog, cat, or wildlife creature, she would risk life and limb for any creature/person in need. She thrives from the support of her friends and family who push her to always succeeded in everything she does. At this time she works at Bedford county animal control as a kennel technician and does everything she can to care and love the animals. She also farm sits twice a month, and her favorite part is the horses. Her dream one day is to open a rescue/rehabilitation center for all animals in need. In her spare time she loves the outdoors and spending time with the people closest to her. But above all she always puts her friends,family, and animals first.

Volunteer
Krista’s giving hands and compassionate heart have been a huge resource to Better Days Dog Rescue. She travels in her amazing camper van with her dog Caine and her Rabbit Nugget under the name “The traveling trio”. She uses her amazing dog training skills to get these dogs up to par and ready to find their forever home!
